ABOUT ME


I'm a human in my 40s living in central Canada with my partner and our little black cat.


You'll find me perpetually creating, making & building. The outdoors is where I feel most at home, which I balance with a lifelong love of technology & the internet.


My current hobbies include: illustration, knitting/crochet, mini painting, hiking, camping, homesteading, cooking, gardening, brewing beer… and probably several that I've forgotten.


For my whole life, I've also been passionate about paleontology - especially the Mesozoic era & dinosaurs. I'll talk your ear off about it, if you'll let me.

Weird Allie Facts


  • I get chronic hiccups every few months or so, and they'll last an entire day before disappearing.

  • I have a cowlick on the left side of my forehead, which makes my hair stand up. I usually include it in drawings of myself, like the one above!

  • I was born to very old parents, who thought they couldn't have kids. (oops, surprise!)

  • When I was a kid, I was a picky eater but my favourite food was boiled cabbage.
