I'm a forest hag parading as a human up in Canada.

For my entire life, I've been possessed to learn new things. This has led to an exhausting list of hobbies and pasttimes, most of which are listed below.

I love nature & tech in equal measure, and strive to balance both in my day-to-day life. I work in marketing in my day job, and am happiest when paddling a canoe, hiking a trail or making stuff.

Hobbies

I have a ridiculous amount of pasttimes. Some are more evergreen, others I partake in seasonally, while others float in and out of my plane of existence on a whim.

In no particular order:

Drawing, knitting & crochet, gardening, homesteading, dinosaurs & paleontology, Magic: The Gathering, cycling, hiking, camping, cooking, video games, board games, TTRPGs, web dev, game dev, miniature painting, photography & videography, beer-brewing, and likely a few more that I've forgotten.

Weird Facts

  • I get chronic hiccups every few months or so, and they'll last an entire day before finally going away. None of the tricks work.
  • I have a cowlick on the left side of my forehead, which makes my hair stand up. I usually include it in drawings of myself, like the one above!
  • I was born to very old parents, who thought they couldn't have kids. (oops, surprise!)
  • When I was a kid, I was a very picky eater. Despite that, my favourite food was boiled cabbage.

  • Bluesky - I'm here because a lot of friends migrated here, but I don't post too often.
  • Instagram - Meta's the worst, but I do share photos here periodically.
  • itch.io - I post my games here, and find tons if great indie games to play too.
  • Kofi - This is where I currently accept donations for various work I do, and other what-have-yous.
  • Youtube - Currently on hiatus but I make videos sometimes, mostly about mini-painting.
